What is true romance? Is it not letting the person you are in love with know that you think of them in that special way? And really when you think about it, what better way to do that than with a romantic gift? For me that means selecting a personalized gift for my guy so he knows I’m thinking of him. With personalized gifts, you can get your gift engraved with a word or phrase that is unique and special to the two of you. You need not worry about the item itself being romantic (which can be hard to do when shopping for a guy). You just pick something you know he’ll like and engrave it with his name and/or something meaningful to the two of you.
Some of the gifts that I feel make great personalized gifts include toasting flutes, or wine glasses or even a beer mug if your guy only drinks beer. A money clip with a cute saying can also be very special and you know he’ll keep your gift close when it holds his money! Other ideas include a black leather stash tray engraved with his initials or even a fine pen. When you think of it, the possibilities are unlimited. Just get him something you know he will like and use and then engrave it romantically. Simple – yes?
A Good Sterling Silver Snake Chain – Where to Find It
I love the feel of a good jewelry silver chain. The ones I seem to come back to time and again are the snake chains. They have a nice, slinky feeling, and they sit neatly on the neck. Oh, and I think this particular silver necklace sets off a pendant perfectly, although they look really nice just as is, too. I know. It’s hard to get absolutely enthusiastic over a minor accessory. But to me, it isn’t minor. It’s what you notice about someone right away, and when you are going to impress someone, either for a job interview or on a date, you want to look nice. A Bonsai Under the Tree- Getting it Home for Christmas
With the rapid approach of the holiday season, some people who are looking at treating a friend or loved one to a bonsai tree for Christmas had better start giving some thought about how to set up to have it delivered at a time and to a place that will work for both you and this living tree. It’s probably not such a big deal in the southern states but in the north you must take into account that once it gets cold outside, it’s going to affect your shipping. Why is that? Well consider if you will, a lovely indoor ficus bonsai, removed from a greenhouse that successfully mimics the tropics, hot- sunny, moist. Now take this lovely tree, pack it into a box and sit it in a freezing cold truck for a few days. This doesn’t work and no reputable greenhouse will ship a tropical tree in weather that’s too cold for it to survive – like say what you’ll get in mid December. Continue reading
