Really aesthetic dolphin pendants are a passion of mine. I go on business trips to the Caribbean from time to time and when I’m there I haunt the local shops for pretty representations of these marvelous marine mammals. I’ve managed to delight the women in my family several times with my finds, but I wanted to mention the American artist who seems to have captured their essence. Her name is Merry Rosenfield, and if I’m not mistaken, she is very much an animal lover!

Her other precious metal pendants have a lot her trademark whimsy in them as well. They are not “cutesy,” but they capture a love of nature and wild animals I’ve seldom seen in modern jewelry making. From the sterling silver necklace pendants representing insects, to the sterling silver jewellery with lots of dog breeds, wildlife or other animals, I think she has captured the essence of life in wearable art. My hat is off to you, dear artist!
